 Thomas Acda and Paul de Munnik met each other at the Amsterdam Academy of art where they decided to work together to make a theatre comedy. They arranged their first show after Thomas convinced a producer of their talents. The producer initially didn't want to listen to any of their work. Thomas persisted that he would give notice to their work. Finally, the producer asked Thomas about his strongest line of text. Thomas then said "als je bij me weggaat, mag ik dan met je mee" if you leave me, can I come with you, and that convinced the producer. Their shows turned out to be not the same as regular comedy shows. The public especially started to admire the songs they wrote for the shows. Show more » In the summer of 1998, they had their breakthrough-hit with 'Niet Of Nooit Geweest. Several succesful albums followed, whilst still making shows and even a "Rock Opera", 'Ren Lenny Ren' which was accompanied by the album 'Liedjes van Lenny'. Thomas and Paul are now writing songs for their new album after being on tour for 3 months since January 2006; the 'Op Voorraad Live - Jaren Ver Van Hier'-tour.
