 Beyonc Giselle Knowles born September 4, 1981 is a popular American R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and fashion designer. She performs under the stage name Beyonc. Knowles rose to stardom as a founding member and the lead singer of Destiny's Child, "music's most successful female trio". After a series of commercially successful records with the group, she released her debut solo album, Dangerously in Love 2003, which spawned the highly successful song "Crazy in Love" and topped both the R&B and Billboard 200 charts in the U.S. and the main album charts in Canada and the United Kingdom. Beyonc will start a World Tour promoting her latest album B'Day in 2007. On September 12, 2006, tour packages and pre-sale tickets went on sale to members of Beyonc's Official Fan Club beyonce.com for select shows in the UK and Europe. Some tour packages include tour merchandise and a meet and greet pass to meet Beyonc at the concert.
