 Trevor Smith was born in Brooklyn May 20, 1972, New York, and is of Jamaican heritage. At the age of 12, his family moved to Uniondale, a suburb of New York City on Long Island, where he was raised and eventually met up with other MCs from the growing New York area hip hop community. Brown, Dinco D, Cut Monitor Milo. Busta Rhymes' debut solo album The Coming was released by Elektra Records in 1996. Busta Rhymes signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment to release his seventh studio album, The Big Bang. On 12th June 2006 in the UK and a day later in the US, he finally released, The Big Bang. The album featured the first single "Touch It", which charted in the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100 and inside the UK top 10 Busta Rhymes has also appeared in several films, including Higher Learning, Belly, Full Clip, Finding Forrester, Halloween: Resurrection and the 2000 version of Shaft, among others.
