 Geyster is a duo formed by Gal Benyamin and Pernilla Grnlund in 2000.Their first cooperation occured in 1998. At that time they both attended the M.I. Musicians Institute music school in Los Angeles. Together they founded their own band The Kites, where they explored different musical genres through Gals compositions from pop-rock to funk and jazz and performed live in music clubs across Los Angeles. In 2002, the project seduced Joachim Garraud, successful producerremixer David Guetta, Jean-Michel Jarre... who became with Gal co-producer of the first album of Geyster. Signed with Virgin France, the band performed regularly promoting their first hit single Bye Bye Superman which was airplayed all over Europe the whole summer of 2003. Followed up 2 more singles "It's About You" & "John Clay" and finally their first album I Love 1984 released in spring 2004. Show more » In 2005 Gael founded his own label : Somekind Records through which he will release Under The Fuse Of Love the first single of the new album called Everytime I See Your Face which will follow up early 2007 GAELGal 30 is a singer-songwriter, a producer Geyster Productions Somekind Records and a multi-instrumentalist keyboards, guitar, bass, drums. He is currently a journalist for the French Keyboards Magazine where he writes reviews about audio gears and musical instruments. He attended the C.I.M. jazz school in Paris and had a private jazz piano education with Samy Abenaim co-founder of the Bill Evans Piano Academy. Mainly influenced by Steely Dan and music from the 70s and 80s in general, hes been writing songs since he was 14. Gael was born and raised in Paris where he lives. PERNILLAPernilla 31 is a singer and recently founded her own jazz quartet and performs live in small jazz clubs in Paris. She has studied mostly jazz harmony and vocal techniques in different music schools. Her influences go from Frank Sinatra to Joao Gilberto and the Latin Music genre. Pernilla was born and raised in Sweden and moved to Paris where she lives since 1999. Official Website
