Ja Rule Ft. Ashanti

Jeffery Atkins born February 29, 1976, better known by his stage name Ja Rule, is an American rapper from Hollis, Queens, New York City, New York. He rose to fame in the late 90s and early 2000's with a string of successful albums and singles bringing his album sales to 20 million. Ja Rule is especially noted for his gruff, gravelly voice, which rapper and ex-mentor DMX eventually took offense to, accusing Ja of 'biting his style' the beef has since been resolved.
