 Tatjana, dutch singer and actress, born Tatjana Simi on 9 June 1963. Raised in Zagreb, then Yugoslavia, now Croatia. She moved with her mother and sister to Rotterdam in 1979. Hits include &8220;Santa Maria&8221; from 1996, &8220;Crazy Way About You&8221;, etc. &8220;Santa Maria&8221; hit Top 40 in U.S chart. Show more » She started a recording career in 1987 with her first single &8220;Baby Love&8221;. Her song &8220;Chica Cubana&8221; became a hit in Europe, followed a year later by &8220;Awake Boy&8221; in 1989. In 1992, she recorded a version of &8220;Can't Take My Eyes Off You&8221; with Dutch singer Gerard Joling. Her first album was released in 1993 and included a hit &8220;Feel Good&8221;. Her best known song &8220;Santa Maria&8221; was recorded in 1989 with a remix by Mike Stock and Matt Aitken of Stock Aitken Waterman becoming an international dance hit. A follow up single &8220;Calendar Girl&8221; released in 1997 through Central Station failed to attract the same success.
