The Sheer

The Sheer is a Dutch poprock band, founded in the summer of 2000. Their cheerful tunes are known to have strong Britpop influences. The band members are Bart van Liemt vocals, guitar, Jasper Geluk keyboards, Jorn van der Putte guitar and Gert-Jan Zegel drums. Their debute album called 'The keyword is excitement!' was released in 2004. The same year they won a 'Zilveren Harp', a Dutch music prize for upcoming talents. Their sophomore album, 'Feel The Need', was released the 26th of May 2006. The first single on this new album, called 'The girl that lost her mind pt.1', was released on the 5th of May last year.
